H.R. Jauslin obtained a PhD diploma in Theoretical Physics from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, in 1982. He is professor of Physics at Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France since 1991.

The quantization of plasmons has been approached mostly under the assumption of an infinite-sized (bulk) medium interacting with the electromagnetic field. We propose a new approach geared to study finite-size media, such as... [ view full abstract ]
