After studying Physics at the Engineering school Institut d'Optique (Palaiseau) and Orsay University in France, I did a PhD Thesis (2010 - 2013) in Charles Fabry Laboratory dedicated to the manipulation of single 87Rb atoms trapped in microscopic optical tweezers and excited towards Rydberg states, in order to study multi-particle entanglement. In 2014, I joined the group of Philipp Treutlein in Basel (Switzerland) where I studied hybrid couplings between atomic ensembles and either mechanical oscillators, or semiconductor quantum dots. In 2017, I joined the group of Jakob Reichel in Paris to investigate quantum metrology techniques with cold strontium atoms.
Abstract
The ability to distribute quantum states and entanglement between remote systems in a quantum network provides new opportunities in secure communications, computational speed-up, and metrology [1]. In this framework, single... [ view full abstract ]
