I am a theoretical physicist working at the boundaries between quantum optics, quantum information and quantum many-body physics.  I performed my undergrad studies at La Sapienza University in Rome, where I had my first research experience on experimental quantum optics supervised by Prof. Fabio Sciarrino. Then I moved to Spain to perform my theoretical PhD studies in Enrique Solano's group, in the framework of the Circuit & Cavity QED (Marie-Curie initial training network). Presently, I am a Marie-Curie research fellow in the Quantum Information and Technologies (QITE) group, at Laboratoire Matériaux et Phénomènes Quantiques, University Paris Diderot .

Abstract

Introduction: In cavity quantum electrodynamics, the interaction between photons and atoms is often described within the dipolar approximation, leading to linear (single-photon) interaction terms. However, a variety of... [ view full abstract ]
