Zhixin Kang

Zhixin Kang, Ph.D., is an associate professor of quantitative methods at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke School of Business. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His research interest is in applied econometrics, real estate finance and economics, and time series modeling and forecasting. His research has been published in Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Statistics and Its Interface, Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management, Journal of Transnational Management, Applied Financial Economics, International Journal of Supply Chain and Inventory Management, International Journal of Electronic Finance, and etc.

Joan Donohue

Andrew Bristow

Virginia Commonwealth University

Andrew Bristow earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Virginia Tech.  He also holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He is currently enrolled in the Master of Decision Analytics program at Virginia Commonwealth University.  He currently teaches undergraduate mathematics courses at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.  

Lydia Gan

University of North Carolina at Pembroke

Lydia Gan earned her BA and MS degrees in Economics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and a Ph D. degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. She has over 27 years of higher education teaching and research experience and has been with the University of North Carolina at Pembroke for 8 years.Her research has appeared in a number of leading academic journals, including The Economics e-Journal, Review of Applied Economics, Academy of Economics and Finance Journal, Healthcare Marketing Quarterly, Journal of Vacation Marketing, Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Destination Marketing and Management, Information and Management, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, and Journal of Asia-Pacific Business.  She also serves on a few editorial boards, including Open Economics and Management Journal, and Journal of Business Theory and Practice.She is also the co-author (with Frank, Bernanke, and Chen) of The Principles of Economics (2009), Asian Edition, McGrawHill, a textbook widely used by Economics students throughout Asia -- in countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Indonesia. The textbook has also been translated into Chinese language.
