This session will illustrate how one university used the SAMR model to establish a Transformational Learning Initiative to utilize mobile learning devices to enhance the instructional power of both faculty members and future teachers. The learner outcomes associated with this paper include:
• Gain a cursory understanding of the SAMR model of technology learning
• Understand how the mLearning model is used with mobile learning devices
• Have an overview of the Transformational Learning Initiative at one
university
• Be able to replicate the TLI at their own IHE with minor modifications
