Feminist science acknowledges the under representation of minorities and women in the history of science, the lack of representation in model organisms and clinical trials, and the fact that the best research develops from diverse perspectives. This project provides a framework where feminist science ideas can be brought into classrooms. Workshops with faculty will be created based upon the research presented in this talk. , workshops with faculty will occur. Faculty will gain skills to incorporate feminism into the science classroom. Professors will incorporate a brief feminist science curriculum into their current class plans, and alter the way they think and speak about science. With feminist science, there will be improvement in the way people think about and conduct scientific research by introducing feminist ideas.
