This project sets out to determine the principle influences of an individual's political preferences. Current political movements that have gone against the status quo have grown in number in many western liberal democracies. These movements are usually spoken of in the context of increased cultural and economic change. The question of which of the two are more important for the formation of our political presences is not an easy one to answer. However, both do seem instrumental in informing our preferences and our vote.
