Kaz de Jong is a registered Clinical & Health Psychologist and a registered Labour & Organisational Psychologist. He is working for Médicins sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders (Artsen zonder Grenzen in Dutch) already for more than 25 years.

Kaz has worked all over the world to organize psycho-social work, to train local people in mental health etc. etc. in Bosnia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Tadzjikistan, Tsjetsjeni, Ingoesjeti, Kashmir, Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Uganda, Congo, Sierra Leone, Colombia, Myanmar , Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Birma, Jemen, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka (and more).

Kaz has been working around 20 years in “the field.” He published several articles, 2 in the Lancet about the trauma work of MSF in Sierra Leone and Sri Lanka. He now is Manager Staff Care(previous job tittles Mental Health, staff care; Mental Health Coordinator).
