Trudy Mooren, PhD, associate professor at Clinical Psychology Utrecht University, works as a clinical psychologist at Foundation Centrum '45 as well. She is a licensed CBT, EMDR and family therapist working with children and families of traumatized target groups, such as refugees and asylum seekers, ex-military, and generations of the Second World War. She coordinates the research track Child, youth and families after trauma and as such is involved in several scientific studies on consequences of psychotrauma for family relationships and children. She has gained expertise in working with family groups, which she and her team employed in intervention and prevention programs in different settings
