Pre and Post Test Analysis Sexual Exploitation Prevention Program in Rural Communities

Dr. Black-Hughes has been a member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Social Work faculty since 1994. She received her Ph.D. from The Union Institute, an MSW from The Ohio State University, and a BASW from Wright State University.Dr. Black-Hughes has focused her research interests on international study abroad experiences, programing for children orphaned due to AIDS and other causes, interdisciplinary practice, social work ethics and supervision, and electronic instructional methods. Beginning in 2007, she taught Internet based courses (students physically located in South Africa or other states along with students located at MSU, Mankato). Since 2007, she has been honored to work with the University of Fort Hare Department of Social Work, East London Campus, Eastern Cape, South Africa and has volunteered and promoted student involvement with Caring, Affirming, Training, and Changing (CATCH) a non-government organizations in Mzamomhle, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Dr. Black-Hughes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and has practice experience in the areas of adult, child and family mental health and women's issues. She has also worked with community based alcohol and drug addiction programs.
