What if I face abuse? Awareness levels of Bachelor students who might face possible abuse or neglect in their future career

Ozge Sahin graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Psychology in 2011. She is phd candidate and currently continuing his doctorate studies at the same university and working as a research assistant in clinical psychology. At present, she is studying with the child and mother who has history of neglect and abuse on her thesis. Her main areas of interest are childhood trauma, child neglect and abuse, non-directive play therapy, children’s right, attachment and intelligence test. She has been volunteering internship at Child Protection Service of Gazi University since 2012. She has been participating in case meetings and conducting therapy with abused children. In addition, Mrs. Şahin gives trainings and seminars on prevention of violence against children
Gamze Sen

Gamze SEN graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Psychology in 2011. She is phd candidate and currently continuing his doctorate studies at the same university and working as a research assistant. Her main areas of interest are non-directed play therapy, childhood trauma, child neglect and abuse. He participated in seminars for 1 year on child neglect and abuse İn Gazi University. Thanks to these seminars, her interest in child neglect and abuse has begun to grow. Then she volunteered internship at Gazi University Medical Faculty for 2 months. While she was a volunteer intern at Gazi University Medical Faculty, She joined courses at Hacettepe University in Child Mental Health for 1 year. Then again, Hacettepe University participated in Supervision for 2 years in the field of Child Mental Health. During this period, she carried out directed and non-directed play therapy sessions with the courses and superstitions she attended. She still continues to work with children with play therapy.
