Mr. Ilan Cerna-Turoff has 10 years of experience in research, children and adolescent health and child protection. He has a background in evaluating programs, training and designing mixed-methods research in development and humanitarian contexts globally. Mr. Cerna-Turoff is a former professor of qualitative methods and Fulbright recipient. He holds a Master of Arts in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University and Master of Public Health from Columbia University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in advanced quantitative methods for the study of violence against children in lower and middle-income countries.
