Collaborating to improve the lives of children and stewardship of our natural environment, Patricia is a leader, educator, researcher, learner, author, and social scientist. She is Director of PS Consulting, with decades of experience in social reform, education, child abuse and neglect prevention, and management training, spanning the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the U.S. As Founder of The Safe Child Project, sharing best practices in parenting education and violence prevention, she helped achieve policy reform and public awareness of child abuse with partners in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. She authored e-learning parenting education as creator and author of My Safe Child, an interactive violence prevention program for pediatric practices. Patricia served as a contributor in Geneva, Switzerland to the World Health Organization’s UN Secretary General’s World Report on Violence Against Children; co-chair of Food Access of the Pittsburgh Food Policy Commission; Conflict Resolution Trainer for Pittsburgh Public Schools; co-leader of comprehensive sexuality education for an inner-city church youth program; Planning Commissioner; co-founder of a girls’ leadership workshop. Patricia holds a doctoral degree in Education from Duquesne University; M.S. in Community Development from the University of Missouri; and was a Rotary International Graduate Scholar at the University of Jordan-Amman.
