I have some publication on EQ training for children 2-6 years. creativity and PTSD.
Introduction
Despite all the efforts which have been made to decrease child abuse, the statistics show there is still further need of better and more informative preventative system in this area
The UN convention for the prevention of child abuse is an international convention which protects the rights of children and requires all societies around the globe to uphold its principals. whereas, this rights can currently be observed in many educational and learning institutions.
However, in reality no child is able to properly understand their rights and this is despite the accepted fact that the creation and encouragement of a child’s own abilities and understanding of their rights is one of the best ways of preventing the abuse of their rights and a child’s introduction to their rights will allow them to have the necessary understating required in order to prevent and minimize their own injuries.
Aim
Even though the UN Convention is one of the most important factors and instruments globally in the prevention of child abuse but it is not cognizable for children. The aim of this study was to design an animated picture form.
Method
After the studying of the UN convention as well as the various stages of children’s development, a number of the conventions rules and guidelines were made into animated pictures and were taught to 22 children 3-5 years during 2 months
Results
The results of T test showed, children’s understanding of their rights has a significant p ≤ 0/05 increase.
Conclusion
By transforming the written form of the UN convention to an animated picture form, it is possible to make children more aware of their own rights and it will be possible introduce children to their rights an earlier age, thus potentially prevent them from possible harm in their childhood.
