In recent years, the uncertainty of China's inbound tourism development is increasing. In addition to the conventional factors such as economy situation, national relation, the appearing of some factors such as weather conditions makes tourism development environment more and more complex, especially the haze has became one of the most important influence factors on inbound tourism. In order to clarify the haze influence mechanism on inbound tourism, the paper taking 40 major cities in the Yangtze river economic belt as the research objects, using the tourist arrivals and revenue of inbound tourism to measure the Yangtze river economic belt inbound tourism, adopting the number of air pollution days of above 40 cities through dimensionless to indicate the degree of air pollution in order to measure the haze condition, and then using FDI, the number of a-level scenic area and the transportation convenient degree as control variables, taking empirical analysis for haze and inbound tourism in the Yangtze river economic belt. The results showed that in the region of serious air pollution, air pollution has stronger crowding out effect on inbound tourism. That is to say, where air pollution aggravated significantly the outflow of tourist arrivals and tourism revenue significantly increased. However in the lighter areas of air pollution, although the impact of air pollution on inbound tourism is not significant, but to some extent, it also have been shown to negatively impact. The analysis results will provide the basis for the central government to make differentiated environmental policy in the Yangtze river economic belt, and in the meantime, it also have reference value for the local government in adopting suitable policy to promote the inbound tourism development.
