Situation school as one of most important factions of geomancy study, existing important influence on the ancient mountain village siting and planning in our country, which includes some simple scientific thinking. This paper will screen viewpoints of the Form School of Feng Shui, based on the field survey and visiting to the local villagers, as it does in the case of Hongcun of Yixian in Anhui province to empirical four elements of the Form School of Feng Shui: “Dragon, Sand, Water, Cave”. Studies have shown that Hongcun conforms to the Form School of Feng Shui for ancient mountain village siting requirements, in accordance with Hongcun to extract tourism development model of “Esteeming Dragon, Protecting Sand, Preserving Water, Stabilizing Cave” from the ancient mountain village which has strong applicability and important reference for ancient villages protection and tourism development in Southeast China of mountain areas.
