E-Difice – The Digital Construction Cluster

Merylin Rüütli is the CEO of architectural and engineering office Projekt Kuubis and a board member of  E-difice- The Estonian Digital Constuction Cluster that was founded by construction sector companies back in 2015. The Digital Construction Cluster E-difice aims to shift paradigms inside the construction sector with information and communication technologies, while placing significant emphasis on altering business customs and models. This is accompanied by creating a construction environment, where collaboration between various parties is valued highly and the construction is observed during the whole life-cycle from idea inception to utilization.The strategic objective is to create an innovative digital construction environment with new VDCM products and a common data environment for the entire life-cycle of a building.The cluster is focused on developing knowledge based construction, where the general goal is increased added value, technically also described as resource reductions per production unit.
